> Piran Quests makes self-guided outdoor escape games (outdoor escape rooms) in Piran, Slovenia. The first game, "The Salt Smugglers of Piran", is played on a phone in the streets of Piran's old town, in English, Slovenian or German, with no app and no guide.

- What: outdoor escape game / outdoor escape room / city rally (Stadtrallye) in Piran, Slovenia. Story: in 1775, players join a secret salt-smuggling brotherhood and must get 20 sacks of Venetian salt out to sea before the inspector notices.
- Where: start and finish at Tartini Square (Tartinijev trg), Piran. Route of about 1.7 km through the old town: Tartini Square, the 15th-century flagpole pillars, the town hall lion, the Venetian House, the Minorite monastery, St George's Church, the Old Square (Trg 1. maja) and its cistern, Punta and the harbour promenade.
- Duration: 60–90 minutes, at your own pace; pause any time.
- Players: teams of 2–5 on one phone, or solo. Several teams can race each other on a live board (friends, families, team building).
- Price: Team ticket €24 (per team, one phone). Solo ticket €15.
- Booking: online at https://piran-quests.com/#tickets (secure payment with Stripe; ticket codes shown instantly). Tickets are valid for 12 months; once started, 48 hours to finish.
- When: any day, in daylight. Everything is outdoors and free to see; no entry fees, no buildings to enter.
- Languages: English, Slovenian (slovenščina), German (Deutsch).
- Requirements: a charged smartphone with internet to activate the ticket; works with weak signal after the start.
- Accessibility: stairs up to St George's Church (a no-stairs option is offered); not suitable for wheelchairs.
- Age: good for children from about 8 with adults.
